"Zombie Boy; because the tattoos really represent a challenge to the retail paint, this drives me to be as accurate as possible not only in the skin tone, shadows and lights and shades that makes Rick a human being, but the detail and complexity of his tattoos. Indelible

His first tattoo is not visible on the doll because it is presented differently, says ZB. At what age Zombie Boy was adorned with a first tattoo? "I was 16 years old. It was a Jolly Roger (pirate symbol), "he said, pointing his left shoulder.

The follower of freak show knew that his plan to tattoo the entire body would attract attention. "I have always evolved and exchanged about the show freaks and the world of tattooing. My idols were enigmatic vampire women, men lizard, but no one was tattooed zombie. My nickname was Zombie and my idea was to be freak too, "he said.

Standing Undead

Zombie Boy told his skin to many tattoo artists around the world, but he that has made ​​him a living work is Frank Lewis. "It's Dr. Frankenstein who took all my little tattoos and made ​​one big piece," he says. The long metamorphosis began when he was 19 years and was completed in 25 years. Three sessions per month during those years were needed to finalize the skeletal patterns on his skin very noticeable. The original doll is of a size 43 cm and comes from the company's collection of dolls Tonner Doll , designer and distributor located in Kingston, in the State of New York, the US.
